About

Paul Asbell has professionally, performed, recorded, and international toured for over 50 years. He recorded and played with Muddy Waters, Paul Butterfield, Sonny Stitt, Jon Hendricks, Esther Satterfield, John Lee Hooker, and many others. His electric jazz group Kilimanjaro performed at the Montreal, Newport, Atlanta, Montreal, and Kool Jazz Festivals over the years, and released 3 award-winning recordings, all featuring his original compositions. Resident in Vermont, Paul Asbell has also taught guitar for over 45 years. This includes private instruction and positions at Dartmouth College, St. Michaels College, and presently at Middlebury College and the University Of Vermont.
