Jazz Record Art Collective presents Tom McCarthy Quartet performing John McLaughlin's 1969 release EXTRAPOLATION Thursday, June 18th at FSC. The night will also feature live painting from visual artist TBA. "John McLaughlin's first recording as a leader features the future innovator playing guitar in an English quartet. Although McLaughlin contributed all ten pieces, baritonist John Surman actually dominates this music, often swinging quite hard.
