The Close Out: Northwestern's biggest end-of-year concert. Sycamore and Mockingbird open the night with full sets of debut originals, featuring a range of indie and rock tunes. Closing out the night (and the year), The Mee-ow Band does what they do best and takes the stage to headline with a high-energy set of covers to send the year off right. Comprised of Yara Nasr and Nayan Khambhla (vocals), Casey Weisman (keys), Avalon Bookstaver (guitar), Tom Hu (bass), and Jack Hartfelder (drums), they bring bold vocals, tight grooves, and a shared love of Raising Cane's chicken fingers. Blending rock, R&B, country, and pop, they are known as "meeow band hottest group of people" on Fizz Northwestern (25 upvotes). Sycamore is an indie-rock band bringing raw energy and heartfelt sound to the stage. Comprised of Bri Ho (vocals and guitar), Nathan Brava-Partain (guitar), Naomi Szmuilowicz (bass), and Jonathan Kravchuck (drums), they blend popular covers with original songs to craft a sound that feels both familiar and entirely their own.
