Chandra was born and raised in Michigan by Tamil refugees of the Sri Lankan Civil War. Their music is a mixture of the influences I had from my culture and also the music I found growing up in the United States.It is a Carnatic fusion alternative rock/blues. They released a debut EP by the name "thoughts on agape", which is out on all streaming platforms. At its core, CryOfLove is a pursuit of true self-expression. Three strong, distinct personalities who came together with a single mission: to create something entirely genuine and undeniably new. Our sound is a fearless collision of eras and genres — the raw, guitar-driven spirit of '60s rock, heavily inspired by the legendary Jimi Hendrix, injected with modern electronic textures and sophisticated jazz accents.
